Our aim is to photograph children in their own space playing with the toys and treasures they love most. Every child has a unique character and personality and it is these attributes that we try and capture in each and every shot. That heart melting smile, that cheeky grin or that mischievous 'over the shoulder' look captured in time for you and your family to treasure.
Ideally we would commence the photo session soon after breakfast when children are at their happiest and only too ready to have fun. Whether helping mum bake a cake, painting a masterpiece or just happily playing with their toys, we'll be there to capture the moment. If you want to be more adventurous we have some fun 'props' designed to enhance their unique personality.
If it's OK with you we'll take photographs all around the house wherever your child is happiest. If the weather allows we'll move to the garden or the playground. Some of our most memorable shots have been taken when children are enjoying their favourite outdoor activities, like playing on the slide, being pushed on the swing or just kicking a ball around.
But moods can change so we try and use this time to best effect by photographing them discreetly in their quieter moments. Maybe just relaxing on their own on the sofa or the floor or cuddling mum and dad, sister or brother. We can achieve really fabulous shots when children are thoughtful and pensive and unaware they are being photographed.
photographing your family
While we are photographing your children we try and include a relaxed and informal family photo session involving mum, dad and siblings, even grandparents, laughing and generally having a good time just being yourselves.
Traditionally posed portraits are great and we're happy to oblige but nothing quite compares to a set of informal, candid photographs capturing a happy, loving family enjoying each other's company.

The single most important day in a girl's life but with the pre-wedding preparations and mixed emotions will it all be just a blur when the party's over?

Pregnancy is a unique and amazing experience for every mother and we can capture this very special moment in you life. You need to be totally relaxed and comfortable which is why we arrange the photo session in your own home. We can use different rooms in the house to combine different backgrounds with varying shades of natural light.
We recommend that you book your maternity portrait session between twenty-four and thirty-two weeks. Please try not to leave it too late just in case baby decides to arrive earlier than expected.
While all new born babies are incredibly cute and cuddly we have learned through experience that it's best to wait until they are at least 6 - 8 weeks old before you arrange their first photo session, by which time they can smile, focus and really engage with family and friends.

We really enjoy photographing babies as no two are ever alike, even siblings. Each baby we photograph has a special character and personality all of their own and it is this unique combination that we try and capture in each and every photograph we take.
Baby's well-being is paramount so we do everything possible to fit in with their needs. Feeding times, nappy changes and short naps are all part of their daily routine and essential for a happy and productive photo session.
